Linux really doesn't like running out of space (And this new CoreBlog (back-end) interface seems strange...)

Need to clean up the root partition on my workstation. I'm going to try using kdirstat, as I believe that's the one Tim recommended a while ago. Tim also upgraded CoreBlog while I wasn't looking. Everything still seems to work, but the entry-editing pages seem to have regressed somewhat, losing their Zope-ish page layouts somehow? Hmm, or maybe I'm just so used to seeing the previous CoreBlog interface I've forgotten what raw Zope looks like. Oh well, nothing to worry about I suppose.

Kinda strange that sub-categories now show up a long way from the category chooser.

[Later] MythTV produced a 5GB log file, which was the bulk of the fat, a few other large-ish files, but that was definitely the one causing problems. The 4 or 5 extra copies of the kernel source tree, and all of the downloaded package sources were also consuming a GB or two. Am now back to ~50% usage for the disk.

KDE actually comes in with a pretty nice disk space usage visualization... um, you may have to install the kfile-plugins or kdeaddons or whatever the package is called in Gentoo... then the function is hidden where no one will usually find it, alas! You have to select the "File Size View" mode. (Via the "View" menu, or one of them drop down toolbar items towards the right on konqueror file manager.)
But i do still use kdirstat most of the time actually...
