PyCon wrap-up (Jiggety-jig)

Well, that was a long 5 days of basically non-stop talking (in other words, I loved it). The metaclass presentation seemed to go fairly well, though I'm told that my rather self-deprecating presentation style distracted at least one audience member. Most feedback seemed to be of the "that clarified it for me" vein.

    To be clear, what I found distracting wasn't you being self-deprecating (which is perfectly fine), but the way you kept saying "but that doesn't matter" and similar comments, which is deprecating the *subject matter*.<br />

    If it 'doesn't matter', then why are you talking about it, and/or why am I trying to pay attention?<br />

    I did find your presentation informative and valuable, BTW, so thank you.<br />
