Hitting targets is fun! (No wonder first-person-shooters are popular in business...)

Hit my target of billable hours (actually, 5 minutes more) for the day. Since then I've been doing a bit of work on the various minutae of making a business run. I blocked on the cards, as I need a business phone number to put on them. Been playing with the text for the web site since then. Nothing inspiring yet.
I think tomorrow I'll have to head out and get myself a cell phone and a bank account (my current cell is Cinemon's, but is on VexTech's bill). I'm hoping to get one that has an unlimited incoming anytime plan (assuming such things still exist).

I pay $45/mo (or maybe 40?) for 100 daytime, 1000 evening and weekends, and unlimited incoming with fido. seems to work pretty well :)

I'd like to go with the Rogers (parent company) equivalent, in order to get the bundling discount (I already have Cable and Internet with them). Rogers site, however, has rejected my every attempt to find the equivalent (or similar) subscriptions.<br />

Roger's site is a maze. Fido's is simple and obvious. I want a cell phone, what plans are available, okay, that sounds right, what are the details. Directed navigation allowing you to easily find out the key information. You can comparison shop across the whole set of accounts from a single page. Telus' site isn't quite as straightforward, but it's still just a matter of a few clicks to find the unlimited-incoming $30 ($40 with fees) plan that is approximately the same as the Fido plan.<br />

Rogers doesn't even let you see the plans until you've chosen a handset. The up-front prices are all for the handsets instead of the plans; who cares? It's a phone, you talk on it, why would you particularly care which one you get or whether it's endorsed by Much Music? Sigh.<br />

Well, inquiries into Rogers and ING (want to know if they have a corporate credit card and/or chequing account option for the BISA accounts), form filled in for the corporate registration, need a stamp to send that, maybe go out to do that later (and get a whole whack of them for business use). Guess that'll do for the day's business-maintenance work. Time to head into the billable stuff.

Rogers tells me they just don't have an unlimited incoming plan, so it's down to Telus or Fido.

I use verizon for my plumbing business and it works great. I love their service.
