Hands, hands
Everywhere
It’s hard to determine
The ones that care

As they

Grab a dollar
Cop a feel
Size you up
Shake on a deal
Drag you left
Shove you right
Slap your face
Test your might
Beckon you come
Wave you on
Gesture expletives
Or are quickly withdrawn

Don’t ever fear to offer them forward
But realise they are among a horde
And the hands of time weigh the value of each
Bringing to light those worthy the reach.

Those of which

Bear healing within
Wipe away tears
Raise a chin
Keep touch through the years
Ply soft a hard heart
Hold forth to share
Draw close those apart
Carry burdens of care
Achievement applaud
Build bridges of love
And when held in accord
They fit like a glove

Hands, hands
Everywhere
Hold onto those
You find to care
I'm beginning to think you're spending more time on the comments than I do on the posts :) . Thank you.

I'm wondering if the line "Or are quickly withdrawn" would work as well as "Quickly withdrawn"; it would then both comment on the line before and stand alone then which would give the reader a slowing pool/eddy before the switch to the longer line form.

    i imagine you're right...seems it's my job :)

i did ponder on that line at it's writing but i really wanted to disassociate it from the line above. will give it more consideration a little later. thanks muchly for the thought :)
