Still bites, but not that way (SSL-encrypted connection works, but not regular)

[oops, forgot to hit submit last night]

Got past that little roadblock. Now I'm trying to work on getting the performance up to something usable. The intensive scanning mode that works beautifully on my workstation is killing the (far less powerful) server. I can regenerate the overall views as fast as I can hit refresh on the workstation, it takes more than a minute on the server.

In fact, it's going so slow I'm beginning to suspect that switching to SSL didn't actually fix the problem, it just made it less obvious that (whatever it was) is happening. Long and short is that it's too slow to use at the moment (annoying given that it's only using 25% of the processor power).
