Running an email server at home is great (Until it gets turned off while you're out...)

It seems that either my workstation or my internet connection at home has gone down. Last time this happened it was a cable I'd mistakenly unplugged when grabbing a router. Time before that it was my cousin turning off the machine because it was keeping her awake. Both times, however, there was someone at home to fix the problem when I phoned.

So, I can either ignore the lack of email for the day or trek all the way back up to my apartment. Sigh.

For those hanging on with baited breath. It was neither an unplugging nor a network failure. The fan in the Power Supply in the workstation died and it had shut itself down to protect itself. Have replaced it (and done the accounting) and am about to head out for the day's work.
