Cleanliness is next to DUH! (Don't delete the build directory for no reason!)

I spent much of the day yesterday trying to get my OLPC hacking environment back up and running so that I could work on the code again. At one point I got everything save 1 package (libabiword) to build, but then I noticed that there was an old Python 2.4 install in the build directory and thought "I'll just clear out the build directory and re-install everything, after all, it just built, it must be a good time to build".
Still trying to get the build to work again. Sigh.

Please report the issues you find with the build in trac.

Am in the middle of setting up a Fedora VM so that I can work from a supported OS for reporting these things. Not much point reporting errors if the OS isn't supported.
