No luck figuring out the OpenGLContext flicker (Why would it render to the wrong buffer?)

I took a nap around 5:00 and only woke up around 10:00. Looking around for something to do (other than futzing around with getting KDE working again), loaded up some OpenGLContext demos and sat thinking about why they are failing.

No insights appeared. Probably should have used the time to work on finishing the PyCon paper (yes, yes, I know, I know, should have uploaded it ages ago). Or worked on taxes. Or answered some of the 70+ pending emails for PyOpenGL...

All I really wanted to do was make pretty pictures. Should have done that. Too many of my hobbies look like work these days. Can't recall the last time I sat down to draw. I don't even have a 3D modeller setup I can use at the moment!

Lindsey kept pressing me on Saturday about what I was doing to further my carreer. Not much when it comes right down to it. After a full day of working I'm exhausted. And when I do have some energy, I've got a dozen projects crying out for attention. I'm losing any balance I once had.
