A pleasant day (The temple gives you bandanas, incidentally...)

We had about 6 hours between the ceremony and the reception yesterday, so we headed over to Shane and Simon's friend Mia's place. Spent the afternoon discussing politics, social justice and the like with Mia's whole family. The kind of conversation that rekindles the fires in your heart.

I'm just uploading the pictures now. A few nice ones of the tabby cat and Mia's mom's garden, not a lot else really stands out. I was just taking shots from where I was seated for the ceremony. There were quite a few shots ruined by lack of a decent zoom. Candid shots don't work particularly well when you have to get within 15 feet of the person.

This afternoon I'm going to be dealing with company setup issues. Want to be ready to go on Thursday so that there's no hiccup in ongoing projects. Will have to get contracts and employee paperwork done. Also going to spend some time on research and development if I get a chance... want to investigate a package for possible use. Suppose I should also get SVN, ticket tracking, etceteras set up. Maybe just go with Trac for that. Anyway, time to get the day started. Happy Sunday everyone.

So in the end, what did you wear on your head? I saw no pictures of someone with a baseball cap :-) Would really not have fit in...

The temple had bandanas available. I just got a really large one and had to have help to get all of my hair in (I have a lot of hair). You can see other people's bandanas in many of the photos linked above. Caps are apparently explicitly disallowed.
