That moment of truth (Flipping the switch...)

Finally flipping the "go" switch on the new invoicing system tonight. Going to have to get up at 3:30am to make sure that everything is working properly, so I'm off to sleep now-ish-ly.

Writing this in the shiny-new Firefox that the workstation built while I was off at Linux Caffe this afternoon. Not really thrilled with the moved position for the tabs (my reading style is to open 20 or 30 tabs for those things I'm interested in and then just scan and tap the same close button when I reach the end of each article... oh well). I do like the inline spell checker for form fields. I'll have to see how to go about making it use proper Canadian English (or at least British) at some point.

Still no Eric on the workstation. I've been using Vim when I need to edit something on it. It's actually working reasonably well, but I'm nowhere near as fast as when working in Eric... the Windows-style editing commands are just so deeply ingrained into my fingers that I don't even have to think about the mechanical task of editing there. In Vim I find myself planning out every code move, every indentation, every commenting of a line of code. Going to try re-emerging wxPython and then given SPE a whirl. Anyway, I need to sleep so I'll be awake at 3:30.

You can change the behavior to be like it was before 2.0. Check out the website below:<br />
