Today was all work on Cinemon 2.0 features. Took a break mid-day to run out and buy groceries, since we've not had any since I got home from PyCon... Realised that the script that allows the user to choose a favourite context class (i.e. which GUI system they prefer to use) was totally broken. Rewrote it, creating a new "MouseOver" proto to make creating buttons a little easier. It's not a full button proto, but with it creating such a button is pretty easy. ...

Dan's friend Penelope's friend Allenna is having a potluck tonight. Unfortunately, I haven't been shopping since I got back from DC, so I'll have to go with something store-bought (which I really don't like to do).

Dan's friend Penelope is having a potluck on Friday. Lua's having a birthday party for her friend on Sunday evening, and I'm visiting grams on Sunday afternoon. It's almost as if I had a life, and we all know how dangerous that can be.

I've said it before, I'll likely say it again, Shane is one of the most generous people I know. He practically showered me with gifts this evening, rather nice dessert plates, chocolate in 4 different forms (and large quantities), and coffee.

Just got the PyCon photos dumped into a viewable format... it's not pretty, as many of the photos are rotated ninety degrees, but it should all be viewable. Warning: there are a lot of them, that page will be very slow on a dial-up connection! They are also still uploading, it'll probably be 2AM before ...

Didn't really get any spectacular shots, but this little fragment of the series turned out almost reasonably. There were some really nice shots ruined by blurring :( . Need to figure out a decent low-light shooting strategy for action. ...
Long lunches are pleasant, but they push the day quite late (Thai buffet was well worth it, beautiful female companion was icing on the cake...)
